Comment: When The New Freewoman changed into The Egoist, the US anarchist Benjamin Tucker wrote a letter to Marsden from Ajaccio (Corsica) asking her to be released from any further obligation to the journal. What seems to be a radically different opinion on the terms Egoist and Anarchist is presented by Tucker as a misunderstanding.
